Why.

 I have watched so many family members pass, and their stories have been lost.

When I research my ancestors, the stories are gone.  All that can be found are bits and pieces, here and there.

I won't have an direct descendants unless life changes drastically.  But I want to share what I remember.  So that some of the things of those years and times can be shared in a real life way.  Not stories crafted by the media.  Not biographies with crafted words.
